QWhat is perfusion index (PI)?

A number showing the strength of the pulse signal at the fingertip. A very low PI means the reading may be less reliable — warm your hand and try again.

QWhat is a normal oxygen level?

For most healthy adults at rest, SpO2 is usually about 95–100%. Your doctor may give you a different target. See our guide to reading an oximeter.

QWhy does my reading jump around?

Movement, cold fingers, nail polish and bright light can affect it. Sit still, warm your hands and wait for the number to settle.

QCan I use it for children?

Many fingertip oximeters work for older children with larger fingers; small babies need special sensors. Ask your doctor.

QIs it a medical device?

It is a home-check device. It does not diagnose — always follow your doctor's advice and seek help if you feel unwell.

QIs cash on delivery available?
