The steam inhaler — known in Urdu as the "bhap wali machine" — is a small electric steamer that gives warm, plain-water steam. Many families use it for comfort in cold, dry or smoggy weather. It is not a nebulizer and has no medicine in it.

How to use it safely
- Fill with plain water only to the line.
- Place it on a flat, stable table.
- Switch on and wait for steam.
- Keep a comfortable distance and breathe slowly for a few minutes.
- Switch off, unplug and empty.
Be careful
- Steam is hot — children only with an adult holding it.
- Do not add oils to the water.
- Stop if it feels uncomfortable.
- It does not replace your doctor's advice or prescribed medicine.
